Circular movement: variants of passage of crossroads

The order of its passage is regulated by the rules of the road. Circular motion without priority signs also fits this definition. When crossing this intersection, you must give way to all vehicles moving on the right side, as well as the tram, regardless of the direction of its movement. But in any case, it is worthwhile to closely monitor the traffic situation, because until now there are drivers who are confused in the parties or simply do not know the rules of driving on the roads.

Unequal intersection

Crossing the roads before which are installedpriority signs, is called an unequal intersection. This kind also includes departures from adjacent areas, yards and parking lots. In addition, the intersection of roads with a different quality of coverage is also considered an unequal crossroads.

In the case of a circular motion, it is necessary to consider two scenarios:

1. roads where priority is given to the circular ring;

2. roads where priority is given to incoming flows.

Let's take a closer look at each of them. In the event that the priority is the use of a circular motion, the driver, entering a similar intersection, is obliged to give way to all who are moving in a circle. Only after the way is free, he has the right to go on the road with a circular motion and already then has the advantage over other participants.

If the primacy is given to roads thatenter the intersection with a circular traffic, then the driver, entering it, is not obliged to yield to the other road users except for trams and special purpose vehicles with flashing beacons turned on.

This will protect not only him, but also other road users, including both drivers and pedestrians.
