With the battery, everything is much simpler, you can pick it up with a mediator or a plastic card (everything is kept with glue and adhesive tape) and just take off, before disconnecting one more cable.
Before installing a new battery,make sure that it is suitable for your tablet. Ideal option will be the original (possibly, a donor battery), but Craftmann products are also not bad.
