Kuala Lumpur (or, as its localresidents, KL - Kay El) is the political capital of Malaysia. Not far from it there is also an administrative capital, called Putrajaya, where ministries and government are located. But today we will talk about the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur.

So, this city-millionaire is located 40 km fromcoast and is located in the valley, surrounded by pebble rocks. Originally it was a mining settlement built on a tin deposit. But the mining and trade of tin slowly declined, and the city continued its development. Now it is the cultural center of Malaysia. It surpasses all other cities in terms of the speed of development of banking, financial affairs, the quality of tourism, trade and information technology. Both shopping and sightseeing are truly unforgettable in KL.

The symbol of this city is the twin towers Petronas, which are recognized as one of the wonders of the light of the modern world. Until 2003, they were considered the tallest buildings in the world. The towers bear the names of Menar 1 and Menara 2. At level 41, they are connected by a "heavenly bridge" - Skybridge. The bridge is a beautiful observation platform open to visitors on all days except Monday. Interestingly, you can get tickets for Skybridge for free. But for this you need to withstand a huge queue, since it is impossible to make an order through the Internet or to get them in another way. At 16:00 the muezzin sings his prayers from this bridge, and the towers are transformed, in fact, into a huge mosque.

In the towers are located boutiques of famous brands, a huge shopping center, a lot of restaurants, a philharmonic society of Malaysia, a science center.
