The father was extremely dissatisfied with the behavior of his son, but he explained his decision to become engaged in acting.

Michael Weatherley was married only once. His wife in 1995 was the actress Amelia Heinl, a partner in several serials. The couple have a child: a son named Augustus Manning. In 1997, the marriage of Michael and Amelia, unfortunately, disintegrated.
