Toyota Hilux: the new generation is not far off

At the heart of the novelty, designers put the global IMV platform, which is a classic spar frame, in front of which are located energy-absorbing zones. All body panels are made of high-strength steel, which has an anti-corrosion coating. Thanks to the successful aerodynamic shape, the fuel consumption of the car has significantly decreased, as well as the wind noise during the ride.

Recall that until 2005 under the hood"Toyota-Hilux" was installed only one version of the engine - 102-strong diesel "atmospheric". A year later, the line of engines was replenished with a three-liter power unit equipped with a turbine and capable of developing 171 "horses". This version was only available for those pickup trucks that had four-door cabs. The first motor functioned in combination with a mechanical box in five stages. In this case, the name SR-X will be added to the name of the modification.
