But the club had an unequivocal success. Since 1916/17, he won the Cup of Andalusia, and in 1929, and at all wins in the Segunda. The team persistently tried to get into the Major Leagues. The club was very close to the example several years in a row. But managed to get through to the Spanish elite only in 1933/34. In "Betis" this also happened. And two years later, both one and the second team won solid titles. The Sevilla football club won the Spanish Cup, and Betis became the national champion.

Further developments

When there was a civil war, a championship,of course, did not. However, when the games resumed, the football club "Sevilla" literally immediately became the leader of Spanish football. He managed to take his second cup. And after a while, in 1939/40, the team became the vice-champion of the country. But this success did not end there. In the first post-war tournament the club became the champion of the country. And all thanks to Ramon Encinas, the coach of those times. It was thanks to him that such success was achieved by "Sevilla". Football club, whose composition was then quite powerful, then took another cup of the country (1947/48).

The next success was in 1950/51 - then the team lost to FC Atletico in the struggle for the title of champions of Spain. She took second place.

But in 1968 the club flew to the Second League. However, for a short time - thanks to increased training, players quickly regained their place in the elite. But soon they poured back. It was not an easy time. Only 4 years later, in 1970, they again began to play in the Example. Such "jumps" were due to strong competition. Even after returning to the elite the team did not manage to break above the middle of the standings.

Lately

In 2003/04, the team managed to get together with the spirit andGo to the semifinal match of the country cup. It was their long and hard way to Eurocups. Then the club was led by Juande Ramos. And it was thanks to his efforts that "Sevilla" won the UEFA Cup, beating with a crushing score, in 4: 0, FC "Middlesbrough". This was the beginning of the "white band". There was a victory in the UEFA Super Cup (devastating game with "Barcelona" - 3: 0 score), in the Cup of Spain, "bronze" in the Example and again the UEFA Cup. Then they won the Super Cup of Spain.
