In one of the settlements of the Voronezh Region, inordinary working family, on August 20, 1936, the future writer Dubrovin Eugene appeared. Biography of the creator of one of the most penetrating works of Russian literature "Waiting for a goat" is little known to the reader. On the cover of the book, which was recently reissued, just a few mean words about the author.
Dubrovin Evgeniy graduated from agriculturalinstitute. He began his career at one of Voronezh's factories. He wrote essays and notes for local newspapers. Then he began to write small works of art. In the early seventies Dubrovin Eugene went to Moscow, where he worked for several years in the famous comic magazine "Crocodile". The writer passed away in 1986.

The chief of the All-Union Journal, staying by that time at a very old age, did not call a little-known writer to Moscow. He himself went to Voronezh.

And, probably, soon on the shelves of bookstores there will finally appear publications with the works of a remarkable Soviet writer.
