Perhaps today the young people do not even know that, that once, even in Soviet times, there was such a megapopular group "Dialogue", the most flourishing of its creativity was in 1970-1980's. Let's see what was so unusual in her work.

History of creation

The very group "Dialogue" as such officially appeared in the world in 1978. This happened due to the efforts of a talented musician from Nikolaev Kim Breitburg.

In fact, the history of the band started muchearlier, after all, in fact, it was created on the basis of a collective called "Corda", whose formation and the first debut on the stage dates back to the distant 1969.

The first team included Kim Breitburg, AnatolyDeinega, Victor Litvinenko and Victor Bezugly. Later, the group made a lot of changes, but, by the way, the three first members of the team stayed together until its collapse, although the project was still "afloat".

The end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's were markedthe fact that at the peak of popularity was (in all its manifestations) rock music. The group "Dialogue" at that time became almost the only composition that was allowed to officially tour the USSR.

But it was still very far away from real rock. As for the period of the band's creation, in particular Kim Breitburg of that time, one can very clearly notice that he was influenced by such great art-rock giants as Genesis (then still with Peter Gabriel as frontman), Yes with inimitable vocalist Joe Anderson, King Crimson and many others.

Naturally, the music of such a plan was banned by the Soviet system, however Kim Breitburg very organically entered some elements of art-rock into everyday musical reality.

Not to mention the first studio recordings andmagnetoalbums, the focus was not on the glorification of Soviet realities, but almost on opera suites, accompanied by a grandiose for those times light-show, which, however, somewhat resembled Pink Floyd, although the level clearly did not hold out.

What are only such works as "Underone heaven "(1980)," One day tomorrow "(1986)," In the middle of the world "(1991) and others. What is most interesting, the first two were written on the poems of Kirsanov, with whom Breitburg never ceased to cooperate, and to the third suite the libretto was written by Arseny Tarkovsky.

The highest flowering

So, the rock band "Dialogue" was completelywas formed by 1978. The real success was brought to the collective by the performance at the festival "Tbilisi-80. Spring rhythms ». At the same time, the Time Machine debuted with Makarevich, and the "Leap Year" (the future "Autograph") with Alexander Sitkovetsky.

But if the "Time Machine" offered, so to speak, street everyday rock, the group "Dialogue" and the group then with the name "Leap years" focused on the art. Alas, not all listeners understood this. That's why a little later the team began to engage in what we now call "pop music", although Kim Breitburg tried to incorporate elements of serious music into almost every composition.

Listen to at least such songs as "Everest" or "Constellation Beagles Dogs" - and everything will become clear.

But by the end of the 80's the popularity of the band began to fall. Firstly, the "Lasky May" and "Mirage" appeared on the pop scene, and the group clearly did not reach the level of heavy metal like "Metal Corrosion" or "Aria".

The Meladze brothers

Despite all this, the "Dialogue" group gave the ticketin the life of such today's famous people as Valery and Konstantin Meladze. Yes Yes! You did not misinterpret. They came to the group in 1989, although Valery was listed purely nominally. In the period from 1989 to 1996, the team recorded several albums, but they were not very popular.

Later the group's leader was Valery Meladze, and Kim Breitburg retrained as a producer and sound engineer.
