The 21st century is replete with weapons of mass destruction: nuclear bombs, viral diseases, hazardous emissions into the surrounding atmosphere. In each country there are special services that protect ordinary citizens from threats of this kind - the troops of radiation, biological and chemical protection.

RCBZ Day of Troops is one of the militaryfestivals, every year it is held in Russia and Ukraine. This is an integral part of the long-term development of the defense of both countries, which would be powerless without the specialists of the RCB protection.

The troops of the RHBB in the history of tsarist, Soviet and modern Russia

During the First World War was formedA new kind of troops specializing in protection from poisonous substances, as well as the use of flame throwers. According to historical documents, the Russian Imperial Army for the period from 1915 to 1918 had already at its disposal 15 separate special purpose units, namely chemical companies.
